Arts Council (East Midlands) commissioned us to work with 11 black and ethnic minority East Midlands artists and arts organisations as part of their ‘decibel’ initiative.
The brief was to develop the artists’ stories into media friendly articles for both mainstream and BME media and provide suggestions for raising the profile of each person or group.
We worked with the artists and arts organisations over a six month period, developing individual PR strategies that reflected each artist’s individual needs, outlining possible story suggestions and other promotional ideas. Our return was 13 press cuttings from mainstream and BME media, including two feature articles.
