Message Merchants involvement with De Montfort University Innovation Centre has always been an exciting project for us and the recent success of our second ‘training session’ has reinforced this.

Entitled ‘how to write a press release’ this session covered all aspects of writing, releasing and following up on news stories, features and advertorials. With expertise from Rachel Hargrave and Gemma Pittham the session was well received and succeeded in highlighting best practise in managing your own PR.

Gemma eloquently sums up the morning, “The Innovation Centre is a hive of enthusiasm and creativity and this session was all about taking those qualities and pairing them with knowledge about what the media is looking for and how to target the right media for your business.”
