Title: Christmas Countdown Begins For Leading Midlands Charity

A leading Midland’s based charity has launched its annual Christmas Campaign with the aim of moving further towards its £500,000 fundraising target.

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People has enlisted the support of Message Merchants to help drive the campaign, which will see the money raised going towards their ‘Building for the Future’ project.

It costs Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People £3.6 million each year to provide care for life-limited children, and they need £500,000 to give the Hospice the
extra capacity needed to provide care for both children and adults in an appropriate setting.

“Despite the current economic climate we are hoping that the public really get behind this year’s campaign and raise as much money as possible to go towards delivering that extra facility they so vitally need,” said Rachel Hargrave, Director at The Phoenix Partners.

Upcoming events in December include a charity carol concert at St James the Greater in Leicester on December 3rd and various Santa Fun Run’s taking place at Loughborough University, Elvaston Castle, Rushcliffe Country Park and at Carsington Water.
